I am trying really hard to understand Pope
Francis. Yet there are moments when, try as hard as I can, I just do not get
him, at all. The latest confusion is because of what he said in an interview
published in La Repubblica. So please, someone help me to understand what the heck Pope
Francis is saying?
Pope Francis is quoted as saying: “God is the light that illuminates the
darkness, even if it does not dissolve it, and a spark of divine light is
within each of us. In the letter I wrote to you, you will remember I said that
our species will end but the light of God will not end and at that point it
will invade all souls and it will all be in everyone.”
Huh?!
