When I read the headline, “Abortion vending
machine shows utter contempt for young women & unborn children”, I was
convinced that this was certain to be just another sick proposal by some or
other crazy organisation. Horror of horrors when I discovered that it is not a
proposal. It is real and the vending machine has already been installed and is
operational in Shippensburg University, Pennsylvania, USA.
Kristan Hawkins of Students for Life of America has
condemned the sale of the drugs in this manner and says: “Shippensburg University’s decision to sell Plan B – an emergency
contraception that results in the murder of pre-born children and one that
touts a slew of harmful effects on women – in a vending machine on campus is
reflective of how dangerous the disease of abortion has become.”
Prayer to St Michael, Archangel
St.
Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defence against the
wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do
thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell
Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of
souls. Amen
